Christina Aguilera rocks the stage at Saadiyat Nights 2025

Saadiyat Nights 2025 once again brought star-studded music to Abu Dhabi, with global pop icon Christina Aguilera headlining the event. She joined previously announced stars Boyz II Men and pianist Omar Khairat for a truly unforgettable concert on February 15.

The second season of Saadiyat Nights was a three-month series of open-air concerts on the picturesque Saadiyat Island, which kicked off in December 2024. For many fans, Aguilera’s performance was a highly anticipated event: the singer returned to the UAE capital for the first time in 17 years, bringing to the stage versions of herself at different stages of her career - from the young star of the Mickey Mouse Club to the seasoned artist with a rich discography.

The show lasted an hour and 15 minutes, and Aguilera performed her iconic hits, including Dirrty, Can’t Hold Us Down, Genie in a Bottle, What a Girl Wants, as well as collaborations with Maroon 5 and Pitbull - Moves Like Jagger and Feel This Moment. An energetic opening with Dirrty immediately got the crowd going, and each subsequent track kept the emotions high.

Despite the intimate format of the open-air venue, which was not designed for a standing audience, the audience actively sang along and danced. Security and staff were on hand to ensure safety and visibility for those seated at the back of the stands, but the spirit of the concert and Aguilera's impressive charisma made the evening truly unforgettable.
